What kind of Sierra Leone would you like to see by the year 2025?
To be able to present a picture of how Sierra Leone would be like by the next 2025, it is better to describe Sierra Leone as it is today. The ten years civil war has made the country to be one of the most insecure countries on earth. Up to now, majority of the armed factions continue to live by the guns. This is blocking all major development programmes and investments in the country.

In Sierra Leone today, the roads are not properly constructed. They are narrow and most are not tarred. Concerning telecommunication, less people have or use telephones. Low educational facilities needs to be mentioned here as well. It is a fact that the little children are future leaders of tomorrow. However, there is also no proper scholarship programme in place, further, poor electricity supply is a common problem throughout the country.

Coming to transportation, it can be described as a poor facility. Health facilities are also inadequate. Poor water supply is another main problem affecting Sierra Leone. Agricultural; production is low in our country and the cause of this is laziness. That is why even the staple food, rice is being imported. Finally, lack of sufficient and goods housing is facing Sierra Leoneans

Now I will tell you how I would like Sierra Leone to be the year 2025. I would like to see Sierra Leone to be one of the advanced countries on earth. In this case there should be proper construction of roads and street lights, proper telecommunication, extensive education, frequent electricity, improved agricultural production and industries, good salaries and housing, peace, love and unity so that Sierra Leone would be compared to the world's most advanced countries by the year 2025.
